On September 1, the author learned that COOEC has successfully developed a complete set of on-line mooring safety technology for FPSO (floating production storage and unloading device), and the independent research and development of China's FPSO single point mooring core technology has reached a new peak.
Mooring system is one of the most critical facilities in FPSO technology, which is called the "lifeblood" of FPSO. In the past, the design and manufacturing of FPSO mooring system has been monopolized in the hands of a few foreign companies. Once the mooring system fails, it is necessary to hire foreign technicians to provide solutions, which is not only very expensive, but also difficult to effectively guarantee the oil field production time rate. The FPSO on-line anchor safety technology has successfully broken the foreign monopoly, which is of great significance.
It is reported that this scientific and technological achievement has been successfully applied to "offshore oil 111" FPSO in July this year. "Offshore oil 111" serves Panyu 4-2 / 5-1 oilfield, and its mooring system is designed and installed by a foreign company. In recent years, the mooring system needs to be upgraded and updated urgently. COOEC has adopted more advanced design methods than foreign companies, combined with underwater test results, and creatively carried out a complete set of detailed design work including mooring anchor legs and suction anchors, which not only restored the "health" of FPSO, but also made up for the design defects of foreign companies.
