On September 17, CNOOC Shenzhen Branch convened COOEC Shenzhen company, Warwick company, Shanye company and other parties to hold a pre sea construction risk analysis meeting in Huaming, marking the official launch of the anchor leg repair project of FPSO Nanhai victory, which has been prepared for nearly two months.
Nanhai Shengli is located in Liuhua 11-1 oilfield in the east of the South China Sea. Its inner turret single point mooring system is fixed to the seabed through 10 anchor legs. This operation project is of emergency maintenance nature. The work content is to cooperate with the engineering ship "offshore oil 291" to complete the steel cable replacement of No. 1 and No. 2 anchor legs. The senior leaders of the owner attach great importance to the project plan. Previously, they have led many work plan reporting and risk analysis meetings at various levels, emphasizing that while eliminating the hidden dangers of offshore facilities, they should also accumulate experience for the maintenance of other anchor legs in 2017 and the overhaul of mooring system in 2018. The Underwater Engineering Department of Shanye company is responsible for air diving construction of the project, and the maritime service department is responsible for FPSO heading control; Huapeng, Huaming and HUAFA tugboats of Warwick company also participate as diving support ships and stern ships with FPSO heading control respectively.
On May 17, 2006, the frontal attack of Typhoon "Pearl" broke seven anchor chains and three hoses of Nanhai Shengli, and Liuhua oilfield was forced to stop production.
